Sub Tuum / We Fly To Your Protection

We fly to your protection,

O holy Mother of God;

despise not our petitions

in our necessities,

O glorious and blessed Virgin.

Amen

The Sub Tuum is one of the most ancient prayers to Our Lady, having been written in the 3rd Century. It can be said, or sung, at any time, but most especially after recitation of the Rosary or at the end of Night Prayer.
